Some of my favorite coffee table books at home include the series by Frank Warren called PostSecrets. These books include a collection of anonymous post cards sent by the author unveiling secrets from the sender that have never been told before. Anyone who picks them up, gets instantly hooked reading these short snip its of people’s lives and secrets. If you haven’t read them, I encourage you to check them out!
I always thought it would be fun to do something like this related to education, giving educators and students the opportunity to anonymously share their thoughts, experiences and emotions about life in and out of the classroom. Instead of post cards, I chose to use post it notes, since this is one of the most commonly used items in the classroom. This section of the blog will be filled with post it notes centered around different themes, inspirational stories, thoughts and feelings of those in this world of education. I hope you enjoy them!
Since a huge passion of mine in the field of education is the mental well-being of children, I chose to create my first post it note theme around the question of “What makes you happy?” Below is a collection of post it notes taken from children of all ages, sharing what makes them the happiest.
I hope you enjoy the array of answers!
